Boudicca

Well, it's been awhile i want to create a strong female character, which mean literally strong, while i keep her feminine aspects over the body curves, i tried to give her more armory look, with capes (cape gave elegant feel in my opinion). I want her to be some kind of high rank soldier/officers.

Her name was take from one of the ancient warrior (even im not really refer her from this character), and the armor's based from roman army.

Here're some of the final shots:

Here are some WIP screenshots:

Sadly i didn't really did more screenshot for this piece, anyway that's all!

NoirCop Final Comp

After render out from the Zbrush. I comp the final shot in Photoshop, color tweaking etc.

Here's what the final looks like:

Enjoy!

NoirCop WIP.

Okay...The concept for this image is the contrast between old cop and new cop, old and new. at first i want to make it more like noir style (B&W) but in the end i decided to use more like gradient colors.

The whole stuff done with Zbrush and Photoshop.

Well, here's some work in progress screenshots:

These are the basic Tpose of the characters, after awhile i found of some pose problem with the soldier model, but since he's only a minor character, i decided to leave it that way.

Colored. Pretty much all done with polypaint.

Posed. The gun that the old man hold was my previous work.

Then i do composition framing. for the final (bottom picture) i added some building models.

After i feel satisfied with the comp, materials and lighting. I render it out (BPR) with layers. I separate the background and the characters. and i did render some passes for the character as well.

The final comp will be shown on the next post.

Enjoy!

Facial Expression

For this one i tried to capture facial expression.

I definitely skip hair works for this one lol.

Zbrush and Photoshop.

Here's the work in progress:

Amd then here's the final comp:

Enjoy!

Shotgun!

Since my last hard surface done in zbrush, i feel that i still want to find out how to create more "clean" hard surface,  i decide to create a gun, well, in case i need an assets for the future.

I did this gun (a shotgun i did call as Caesar Police M4 Tactical, yes it's just a random name, lol ), sculpted through zbrush, and textured and lighted with Keyshot.

And I comp it with photoshop, here's the final look of the shotgun:

Here's a little bit of the breakdown on how do i create this shotgun:

Watched and look for some tips and tricks, i found some brushes that helping me quite a lot on creating hard surfaces:

Slash used for creating a thin and clean (with holding shift) lines over the model.
hPolish was used for tidying up the places that not smooth/clean enough on the model.
All the curves used for creating a very clean cut out of the model.

I use dynamesh for the basic models, and often utilizes deformation options to clean up the messy edges.

I separate the whole model into 24 parts of subtools. here are some parts of it.

And here's the BPR and exploded version in zbrush

That's all folks!
Enjoy!
